Same. And I work in a support role at a news organization. The news just stresses me out and there's not a thing I can do about it. I keep up with what's going on in my local community.

Op here. This may be what he’s doing. It just struck me because he is so left leaning and typically chats a lot about personal stuff AND some of what is going on recently indirectly impacts us at work. But on this, it’s like he’s got his head in the sand.

Is he a white man? Friends and I were talking about how our white husbands don’t like Trump and vote against him and complain about him at dinner parties, but are “mostly fine.”

The conclusion was that white men (who aren’t MAGA) more or less believe they’re going to be fine because they’ve always been fine.

They obvs don’t have the same struggles that women and POC do, which is why sadly so few are speaking up.

Is it possible that your husbands actually all voted for Trump, but tell you otherwise to maintain peace in the marriage?

Every straight white and black man voted for him but few will admit it. And young men were all in but never would tell their GF

But if I did, I could probably have a conversation about what's going on in health care or education news. Yea, as I said it’s an observation. But as our team leader I am disappointed there’s not more engagement from him. Trump has brought these issues straight into our workplace unfortunately
