No, there is still hope. Not all kids who get a Q1 request are accepted (some deferred, some rejected too), and kids who don't get Q1 request can be accepted too. I went down a rabbit hole after my DC got a Q1 request this week.

It will be interesting if we all come back and report the decision in a few weeks.

Definitely not at our large public school. Way too much on the counselor’s plate to give updates that may or may not mean anything

kid has 2 bs and 1 c...bad q1...rea P so far hasnt asked or counselor didnt say anything, early last week counselor told us no one asked, does anyone know what day last week princeton asked for grades?

self sabotage, some people are just born with a lot of doubt and adolescence is tough, they need to overcome self esteem issues,i had same issues, was very different parent than how i was raised but same issues, so maybe its genetic and nature not nurture..though im sure i made just as many mistakes, though different ones

From reddit it seems like the grade checks can come out very close to the decision date. This week could be in the realm of possibility. but who knows.

No, which is why I have our counselor a heads up that there might be a request for Q1 grades. She let me know when the request came and I checked the report before she submitted it.

Ours came on Tuesday this past week. If grades weren’t requested then count your DC lucky!

Are there really that many kids (other than athletes/legacy/rotc) from the dmv that get into Harvard and prediction each year. From this board tot would think a lot- but when I look at data - public and private ida a mere handful each year- few kids.
