Agree but NY is a bummer because nozzle latches are illegal there. I like to set it and forget it until it clicks. Use that time to gather some trash from the car etc |
Ramen, Ramen! |
Only in bad weather when it's pitiable to be stuck doing a useless job outside. |
What is wrong with putting money in pockets of adults? Get an electric car. Gas is gross. |
| In India, full service is the norm. |
You have issues. Xanax |
The full service and you can't pump your own gas laws = forced socialism. In all others states there used to be full service for an extra 10-20 cents a gallon (which got your tires checked, windshield washed, and oil checked.) In the really olden days, there'd be a team of guys come out to do all that really fast. In the mom and pop stations, it was usually Jr. or Pop that had to do it all.
There are a very few stations that still have full service pumps. |
| No, do not bring gas station attendants back. Stop being lazy and pump your own gas. |
This is my only answer to this. |
| When my child was an infant I dreamed of full service gas stations. Especially in the summer when the card reader wasn't working (or i had to pee) |
Call me crazy, but I just wash my hands a lot. |
Opposite feeling. I try really hard not to have to stop for gas in NJ. It just feels weird to me to have some random guy filling the tank. |
| I was in NJ last week and it was self service. |
There was some movie - maybe Back to the Future? - when a team of like 10 guys pour out of the gas station to service 1 car, to peals of laughter in the theater. |
They will be too busy harvesting produce and working in slaughterhouses and McDonalds and doing yard work and working in retail. The Republicans’ solution to labor shortages for low/minimum wage jobs is to have kids working. Heck, some states are even rolling back child labor laws! Because forget sports and music and theater and scouts and clubs and school; children yearn for the mines. |
