Bondi pressed federal charges. We are in DC. |
This forum has been taken over by idiots. The DC Bar is not going to disbar Mr Dunn for this single act of civil disobedience. Are any of you actually attorneys? Do any of you understand how the DC Bar operates? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills! |
Because MAGA are traitors but also little whiny Bs, who would not do anything unless Trump told them to do it. |
She will screw it up, it’s in her nature. |
As a former prosecutor I find the charges ridiculous and shameful. Simple misdemeanor assault is what is called for here by the ethical obligations on prosecutors - but one of the biggest problems with our criminal justice system is the failure of so many prosecutors to put aside ego and ambition and follow the moral obligation to seek justice, not merely convictions. |
Oh wait are you going to be on a jury in DC? When I get jury duty I will nullify anything these Feds charge. |
If he is convicted of a felony in District Court they indeed will. |
What respectable person would be working for this DOJ, anyway? He will start him own firm, eventually. He’s got the people behind him. |
As a former prosecutor you should know they are going to overcharge him so he can't help but accept a plea. |
He was charged in federal court, bit of a different vibe than Superior Court. A lot of DC jurors are homophobic and hate gentrifiers, that won’t help him. |
Not without a license he won’t. He may have really f’d up his life. Time will tell. |
Delusional post of the day! ![]() |
Feds can only charge felonies. So any arrest for anything is a felony. Hopefully most people will choose a trial by jury. It is our duty as citizens to use jury nullification on any and all cases brought by any federal law enforcement. |
First, that ain't gonna happen in a DC court. No jury will convict. Second, even if it did happen there's plenty of room in the disciplinary rules and processes for him not to be djsbarred. Might he be disciplined? Sure. Will he be permanently disbarred? No way. No matter how much you and your kind wishfully think it. -- DC lawyer |
In 3 years all these federal agents will be in prison and this guy will have a multimillion dollar settlement. |
