Why are women more likely to go after a man who is already partnered?

Are these women trashy and disgusting or insecure and desperate or both? Probably they don't feel good enough to find decent single men so they feel married cheaters may fall for them?

Also are these men trash with no self respect or care for the marriage contract they made to a woman they loved or emotional well being of children they fathered? They are cheap enough to fall for anyone in proximity who wants them?

They aren’t good enough to get a successful single man. They have to settle for crumbs and be used by a married man. And when the married man gets discovered, he throws her under the bus and goes no contact.

Well, that's why such women should marry at right age or they can become desperate due to unavailability of quality single men in their age group and start going after married men. No decent women would lower her self this way.

It's very uncommon for men to knowingly go after a woman who already has a man. But for some women, they just don't care it's as if the other woman doesn't exist.

Because of two things:

1) Women know that this man does not have a fear of commitment and

2) No need to fear rejection as any rejection can easily be rationalized due to the existing relationship (he's already taken) and not because of any aspect of the woman such as looks, personality, sex appeal, etc.

This is interesting..I am not married, but on this forum married women often complain about their husbands and the complaints seem to be similar across the board.

Then why would they cheat with another married man? It makes no sense to think that that man will somehow give you what your husband isn't giving you

It would be impossible to get true statistics on this as people are likely to hide such behaviors. May be soon AI would be able to collect data from people's phones, searches, driving records, traveling logs, publuc cameras, etc.

How come it’s not obvious ? When both are married, the arrangement is more stable. Neither party is interested in blowing it off without other party consent. People tend to date and sleep with the likes.

There are no starts as people tend to hide these behaviors. There is evidence though that men tend to cheat with those they are already familiar with, someone from their work or household circle. If you surround yourself with married couples that’s not a guarantee that your husband won’t cheat on you. There are plentiful examples we can see of famous married people - that’s when it comes to light. Men actually do sleep with other men’s wives
