12 games in the fall? sounds unlikely |
I think PP meant 12 games for the year - 7 in the fall, 5 in the spring. That is roughly what the U14s played this past year. |
| So few games compared to other leagues |
|
Our club fills the off weekends with in-club full field scrimmages. We play up and down in age. Coaches are on the field stopping play and focused on strategy/positioning and individual player performance. Personally, I love these sessions for the younger teams. The girls have fun playing against each other and learn so much. Bonus is they are local. Not in the DC area. |
| At our club U13/14 have ten in the fall and eight in the spring. |
Could you share the club? |
Why do the U15 and older only play 8 games? Aren’t there 12 teams in the league? |
| Ostensibly because of high school soccer but those games are all on weeknights so really its just a money grab |
Isn’t anything that costs money a money grab? Things cost money and you decide if it’s something you want to buy. |
|
Well, if your kid makes the first team, are you allowed to say sorry, we would rather play on the second team b/c there are more spring games?
Why don't they put their teams in a spring league with a regular schedule? The first teams are paying more for a lot fewer games than the second/third/fourth teams. |
| When are these schedules being released? |
|
Clubs have most games scheduled but schedules won’t be released to the public until Aug 16th.
Pester your coach and/or team manager. My guess is they have a good idea. |
| I see the ECNL website have removed the rosters of a few conferences I randomly clicked on tonight. Looks like the league is probably updating its database. Hope the schedules will be public soon. |
They've been down for about a week |
