When do the virginia ecnl-rl schedules

I would murder if they combined VA north and south divisions.

SAME. It was literally the deciding factor on which team to join. We didn't want to be schlepping around for ecnl or MLS

lol you chose to play RL when you had the option for ECNL or MLS because of travel? i think you also made a choice to play in an inferior league, whether you care or not.

that's how it used to be but they still kept most games separated and i think we only went to Richmond/Va Beach once and it was the same weekend.

Yep, soccer is my kid's second sport. I don't see the point in driving 3 hours to play an opponent at a similar level to a team 20 minutes away. Driving that far for a regular game is nonsense.

Oh please. There is huge overlap in skill between mls, mls b teams, ecnl and ecnl-rl. Most of the kids sitting on the ecnl or mls bench would be indistinguishable from kids on ecnl-rl. Mls B teams are the same as RL teams. Its smarter to play most of the game on RL then not even get to dress in a higher league.

yes your kids second sport is a very different experience from other kids first sport. It's not the same.

I wouldn't drive that long for one game for his first sport, either! Not an efficient use of time.

I assume all clubs have the schedule already. I'm from another part of the country. We had our NL parents meeting for the upcoming year before playoffs in San Diego. I thought it was odd for the parents meeting for the next year before going to playoffs. I guess it was done to send off the graduating seniors by honoring them (or should I say marketing them to the younger teams' parents). The schedule for the next year was shared with the parents and showcases we're attending.

Clubs are working on the schedules. We have 5 games in our PlayMetrics now and they said they are working on the other schedules. The VPSL site is not live for them to enter them in there yet, though.

Agree. Those 6 hours spent in the car could be used to study, or train, or socialize, or otherwise enrich the kids life.

Are the 5 games all teams from the north?

Agreed. RL is essentially now NCSL div1. No need to drive to Richmond for that.

Ncsl d1 boys teams have always been roughly even with RL teams. Who cares?
