RL has its merits. Good league if soccer is your second/third sport and want decent games with minimal travel. Can also be a stepping stone to GA/MLSNext2. But agreed, any serious soccer player is not choosing RL. |
| What on earth are you talking about? On the girls’ side, RL teams destroy NCSL D1 teams and the bottom half of GA, and are about even with the top half of GA. |

| MLSNext2 is the same as RL, hon. Literally teams just changed the name of their teams from ECNL-RL to MLSNext2. Its the same players. |
So funny to see people whose sons will be playing MLSNext2 tell themselves it is somehow a step above ECNL RL. Maybe if you’re in n the second team at a club whose first team is a strong MLSNext team. But not these clubs that top out at MLSNext2. It truly is the same kids who were playing RL. |
| Why would anyone think its higher? Literally the clubs just changed the name from "ecrl" to "mls b team"-its the same kids on the team! |
They are magically more elite than they were last season because "mls" is in the name. Duh. |
| Our (now 6) posted games include home and away games in NOVA and down south. |
For pre-ECNL or regular age groups? There should be more than 6 games in the fall. |
Maybe in the past but not going forward. Won’t be an age group where more than 1 or 2 RL teams are decent. |
| Typically they get posted in early August. A local chat board said maybe this weekend. |
| I think the clubs work out schedules between the directors and they are probably posting them as they are confirmed. There should be 8 games? |
Believe 8 games for U-15 and older the. 12 games for U-13 and U-14. |
Can you share the club? |
