The marines are not trained or equipped to act as police. They will open fire and murder many civilians. This will lead to a break up of the country.

There is just no way republicans can occupy all the blue states. The US military is just not big enough. Trump would have to issue an EO to restart the draft.

PP here. I am a moderate and am not in favor of anything T does, but lawlessness, illegal immigration, sanctuary cities, etc are not something I will support dems on. I am fully on board the crackdown with national guard or marines as they see fit to bring this under control. We are not letting LA into another Gaza, much like they tried to do with Columbia and Harvard. Extreme measures are forced on us by the loose open border asylum policies by Biden admin, who I voted for BTW, but not for that. I voted for him to be moderate then he cheated me. I still did not vote for T, but libs continue to cheat me and not learn the lesson. At some point in future moderates like me will support GOP even more numbers if this won't stop. We have a illegal gang member problem festered on us by Biden and so following every single rule dems want to enforce a crackdown is playing to their wishes, i.e., keep giving illegal gang members more time to stay here while you muddle through court cases for months and years.
