Dessert for bbq

This is delicious, my mom used to make it, but it's not cobbler. It's dump cake.

Taking this a step further - nothing that requires a freezer or refrigeration if you aren't the one hosting. Nothing with whipped cream, no cheesecake, etc. Only things that can sit out at room temp (or even outdoors depending on the setup) unless host confirms they have space in the fridge/freezer

Strawberry shortcake - serve each item individually so each person can build their own, or have just strawberries, strawberries & whipped cream if they are gluten free, etc.

S’more bars - graham cracker crust, chocolate ganache layer, toasted mini marshmallows on top, cut into small bars.

Lemon bars.

Best is a buffet of all three.
