I was at Wal-Mart yesterday - a Saturday - and it was the most deserted I have ever seen. Literally the cashiers were standing in their aisles waiting for customers. Usually at that Wal-Mart I spend more time in line to check out than I do shopping.

I prefer to shop smaller local stores, using Amazon or WalMart as a last resort.
