Ok, so if I get a CDL then that means people like you have to STFU?
I’m in like Jeff Gillooly! |
WHY DOES THIS NOT GET MORE ATTENTION |
|
Wow! I am surprised at how narrow minded city people are! We have a truck for towing our horses, hauling round bales and other stuff. For city people, yes our truck will be spotless when you encounter it. They are too expensive to trash.
The dems in Congress made trucks and SUVs a great write off to gain UAW support! Section 179 is just a regular tax law! None of the city folks on here own a business! |
Democrats need the UAWs support! Without they will always lose elections. Therefore Democrats support tax incentives for big trucks and SUVs! |
99.9% of suburbanites aren't hauling haybales nor are towing livestock. 99.9% of people are driving these dumbass vehicles to go to Costco, Home Goods, Target, Starbucks and the local McDonald's. Because a story exists that's probably 2-3 standard deviations from the norm doesn't really add much to the overall point that most of America lives in the city and burbs and are driving all of these stupidly sized cars that are completely unnecessary and are killing too many people. And all to line the pockets of automakers. Somehow 3 billion people from Europe to Asia are capable of having families, sports practices and haul around stuff, yet don't need stupidly sized vehicles to survive. |
I guess no tradesmen or sportsmen live in the suburbs anymore. |
That appears to be an HD pickup, which Nissan and Toyota don’t sell. It’s not that much bigger than the ones they do sell however. |
I guess no trades people live in Europe all the way to Japan. Oh wait, that's right, they do, and almost none of them use these stupidly sized trucks. In fact, they often drive vans. |

Trump announced all cds drivers must read English moron maga thinks he established that law he did not
The law requiring CDL drivers to speak and read English sufficiently to converse with the public was established in July 1937 with the establishment of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs). Specifically, it's found in 49 CFR §391.11(b)(2). This rule has been in place for decades, with inspectors citing drivers for violations and placing them out of service Dam fools cult of stupidity As a person who has owned many trucks for Horse trailering yes the US could benefit from Japanese safety technology |
100% this. |
| I feel like if you can afford multiple horses and multiple horse trailers, then you can afford to have a smaller car for your day to day driving and use your giant truck just for hauling horses. |
Why not add gas mileage to the mix? |
Another silly comment. Shows you do not have teenagers on your insurance! Or horses! |
Back to what is offered in America. Only two small pickups - the Maverick and Santa Cruz, which are both great but don’t safely fit everyone’s work or lifestyle needs. Europe and Japan have different offerings. Plenty of Americans choose vans but they are not any smaller than the trucks you’re so offended by, are LESS safe and they don’t allow cross-use, like serving as a family vehicle. Why don’t you just say you hate tradesmen… that theyre beneath you - stop explaining to others how they should manage their lives. |
| Every Farrier I've met from Europe owns a Full size American truck! Have never seen one with a van from Europe. Why??? |
