Ummm, you read it wrong, someone else suggested CPS.

What is your problem?

No problem. Just stating the obvious. You certainly seem to believe something improper is going on with your neighbors and whether right or wrong, Ms. Kravitz or not, why don't you just go talk to them? And sooner rather than later because what if something happens before then like her darting out into the street and actually getting hit by a car. If you are right, then you will have helped this child. If wrong, well then that's what it is and your neighbors will be wary that their behavior is noticed.

To respond to this on the traffic issue, I wd need to know generally where you live--b/c running into the street cd be deadly in some settings and even on certain streets of DC it could be less risky--even though you might not allow it--with a spirited kid it can be holy hell to prevent 100% of the time. I am a sahm -- I live in a neighborhood near Spring Valley in DC --my kids are 8,7 and 6 and are not allowed to cross streets alone but do ride their bikes like demons past the alleys on our block. The neighborhood is filled with kids, btw. I have a lot of anxiety about them getting hit as they ride across the alleys as they intersect with sidewalk. The oldest is very high spirited and I just can't keep them all on leashes. I suspect I am being judged by many of the other parents on this--and on a lot of other issues.
