The future looks pretty depressing for our kids

Climate change and global warming is depressing. I think it will get much worse health wise.

Air pollution is at much lower levels in America than 50 years ago.

My D just decided to go to university in Europe rather than in the US. I’m happy with her decision!

Move to Israel. You'll get universal healthcare, free Hebrew language courses, free education, and financial assistance for settling and adapting to life there.

I bet my kids will move abroad when they're older, if we haven't yet as a family already. They're pre-teen and both already say they don't want to have kids, which really surprised me at first but I think they realize that the world isn't a great place right now to introduce more people into. I think our kids' generation will be okay, but I bet a huge percentage will opt out of having children themselves, which other countries are already seeing big time. I think it's a natural and understandable response to the world they're growing up in.

If the country is so bad, especially for the poor and minorities, why do many risk their lives and break the law to try to come here?

Great red herring that contributes zero substance or value to this conversation. I'm curious if the topic is so difficult for you to think about that you need to find a rabbit hole to run down to avoid it?

The ones risking their lives are people working in low paying jobs, even back home they are poor and desperate so a low paying job in America is a step up. Educated people have options, this is not that hard to understand.

Well border crossings are majorly down.

I guess Trump can at least tout this as an accomplishment. He took away everything that was great about this country and made it so even the poor and vulnerable are like “nah, no thanks” to America. So much winning!

I wonder if the same people saying calm down/raise your kids to be resilient are the same ones still screeching about how Covid shutdowns ruined their kids’ childhoods. I guess masks and online learning are much worse than authoritarian governments and collapsing ecosystems?

Please use the correct terms: climate crisis and super drought. Our children will be gasping for air within 10 years.

People have been crawling and clawing upwards to earn rights and freedoms that are swiftly being disintegrated.

I understand your worry. I feel it, too.

You lefties made a mistake. A big one. You put immigrants ahead of citizens.

When flooding the border with illegal immigrants, you insisted citizens get vaxxed. You did not require the same of illegal immigrants. I recall Joe Biden telling us he's "losing patience" with people not getting vaxxed. You democrats went after people's jobs if they did not get vaxxed, but you ignored illegal immigrants.

You gave business loans and mortgages targeted to illegal aliens through some "special" banks with favorable terms for illegals. Citizens did not get the same bite at the apple.

You ignored laws when it came to student lending. DEI and ESG was just a part of your institutionalized reverse racism. You did it willingly and loudly to let whites know they were second class citizens. Don't act like this did not happen. It was there for everyone to see.

Now, it's payback time. You never thought that day would come. I want to hear no complaints from minorities. You loved it when the DNC and all their affinity groups were pushing the hatred.

And here you told us border crossings couldn't be reduced without new legislation from Congress. Why did you lie like that?

DP. Sounds like you are avoiding the question. A question was asked. Now answer it.
