Then you should be absolutely mortified at the thought that the Republicans want massive tax cuts. Tax cuts will increase the debt. Previous Trump and Bush tax cuts already added trillions to the debt.

Unfortunately I haven't seen much in the way of tax cuts. They are maintaining current tax rates, though there is a no tax on tips or overtime provision.
There is also tariffs bringing in billions a day.

Who do you think is paying those tariffs? I’ll give you a hint - it’s not China!

yes you are right, not China, but they will when they come to the table. Other countries are paying now..

Mother was part of the Greatest Generation. Her father died of TB and a sister had it twice before antibiotics subdued it for good. People lost everything in the Depression and many did not have enough to eat. A brother was killed in WWII and few weeks after her fiancé lost his life overseas. It was an awful time, but after 2016 she said her generation had something crucial we did not - a leader who inspired and comforted and Americans knew he cared (FDR). She lived long enough to jump through hoops to vote for Biden in 2020.

The world looks like less of a mess overall than the US. Consider dual citizenship.
