You think illegal immigrants are taking enough housing to have been impacting the market? Really?

For pretty much my adult life the illegal immigrant numbers have been around 11 million. Lets say for the sake of argument its true, removing ~3% of the population, or in reality 5-10% of the population if US born kids go with them would dramatically reduce the cost of housing, though it would hurt home equity. That's also excluding the millions who have asylum claims pending, or have some sort of temporary protected status which is another couple of million.

Again, you really think there are all these people here illegally "taking up" housing from natural born Americans? Wow, one is born every minute.

Supply and demand my friend.

Low supply=high prices.

Greater supply=affordability.

I threw out some numbers, please explain why you think housing would be no cheaper with 10% fewer people? We already can see this in Japan as there is excess housing supply.

For the most part, people here illegally are living with family and friends, crammed into houses and apartments. They are not living among and by themselves - how could they without, you know, documentation?
The landlords look the other way to get the money.

The landlords you are complaining about are mostly republicans. See the problem?

Bush and Trump 1.0 are responsible for over 58% of the national debt. The GOP budget will add another 5-11 Trillion dollars. Are you concerned about that?

No because dumpy let's MAGA be the bigots they are. They don't care about anything or anyone. It's truly a sick party.

Then you should be absolutely mortified at the thought that the Republicans want massive tax cuts. Tax cuts will increase the debt. Previous Trump and Bush tax cuts already added trillions to the debt.

Unfortunately I haven't seen much in the way of tax cuts. They are maintaining current tax rates, though there is a no tax on tips or overtime provision.
There is also tariffs bringing in billions a day.

There is a big difference between those two numbers. The current year deficit is around 1.7 trillion. 5 trillion would be a reduction from that while 11 trillion would be an increase, assuming that is four years. If it is ten years, then that is much less than 17 trillion.

Who do you think is paying those tariffs? I’ll give you a hint - it’s not China!

+1

Don’t forget Obamacare was the grand solution for our health care, and the $130 billion for k-12 spent by Biden for the American Rescue Plan alone (additional billion for schools was spent for mental health, $2b additional spending for Title 1.

I mean come on.

I’m glad my kids are nearly finished with college. There are MAGA on the other thread saying Bethesda HS kids should work on food processing lines, in meat packing, and in industrial laundry because they’re fine with undocumented workers being imprisoned in Libya.

There’s another person saying that Canadians are awful and deserve everything that’s coming to them.

Still another person is excited about her 401k going up because of a war between India and Pakistan because what have they contributed to the world anyways?

Yeah, times are scary. This is all today. Bad, bad things are coming for us.

Just stop....typical northern VA moron who is walking around with their eyes wide shut telling everyone how great they are. No one thinks you are great most likely they hate being around you because of your stupidity and entitlement.

I guess I touched a nerve.

No you just sound really stupid....but you know that about yourself

It’s healthy to admit you’re triggered. That’s the first step to recovery.
