I know that's hard to face given how much energy you put into it, but as it turns out hating Democrats is not the way to help Gaza or Palestinians. Helping them takes a ton more work than what you are willing to put in.

You may be telling yourself that Trump's dismantling of the federal government and disregard for the rule of law is the only way to make our country better. That's because you are too lazy and too easy to manipulate do actually do the work yourself of fighting for progress and for candidates that won't fund Israel's genocide.

+1. Before he was elected, Trump made a bunch of comments about being anti-war. There was zero chance with a continuation of Biden/Harris policies and a slim chance Trump would be different.

There was zero chance Trump was going to do anything to help the Palestinians. In his eyes, Palestinians are weak and deserve whatever they get. Anyone believing otherwise is delusional.

You're smarter than this post. On the one side were Democrats who were in the middle of helping to carry out a genocide against the Palestinian people. Harris was part of the administration carrying out the genocide and made it clear she was going to be effectively Biden's second term. No one with a functioning brain had any reason to believe she was going to push for a ceasefire, much less stop funding the genocide. On the other side, Trump's track record of hostility to Democrats and history of reversing Democrats' initiatives just because they came from Democrats left a sliver of hope that he would at least de-fund the genocide.

If you're pretending not to understand this, then it's because you don't care. It wasn't your people getting murdered, so why not shrug and continue shilling for the party you prefer, right?
