Wearing Pajamas to Drop DH off at work, are these drop off friendly in your opinion?

Who's watching your kid during drop off? Obviously they are little little.

This whole post is fishy. Retail that’s starts at 5:45 but is dressy? Kids that can be left alone but still need to be washed up and have their teeth brushed? OP who can’t seem to not spill food on herself if she’s wearing normal clothes.

Good trolling.

I have a feeling the kids aren’t really old enough to be home alone and the only reason she feels comfortable doing so is because they’re reliably asleep at that time.

I literally cannot even imagine one day of living OPs life. It sounds insane to me. How does one even get oneself into this remarkable situation, of wearing pyjamas while driving their spouse to a retail job bc they can only afford one car?

I can't believe this is even a question.

Get. Dressed.

This whole country is going to hell in a handbasket, starting with people wearing pajamas everywhere. Ugh.

Now get off my lawn.

+1
If they are really a one car city family then DH should take the car to work.

No these are awful. Can’t you just buy a lounge set from old navy or Amazon? That’s what I wear for overnight flights and early drop offs.

Just drive the car, you idiot, then you don't have to get out of the car.

Then she shouldn't be leaving them alone, period. Let the husband take a bus or carpool.

Op here. Thanks for all the replies. There’s no discussed reason behind him driving other than he gets to the car first, buckles up and drives himself.

At home, I have a 16 yo who isn’t responsible for getting the younger siblings ready but is getting ready for school as well.

If you live in a city, your dh should be taking public transportation at that ungodly hour.

Tshirt and leggings / sweat pants / bike shorts OP.

What if you get into an accident? I saw an accident once in the wintertime and the kids were wearing shorts and flip-flops waiting outside for the tow truck and police. It happens.

This is the strangest thread.

This is obnoxious. The PJs are a separate issue but is it that hard to imagine that a family where someone with a retail job can only afford one car? And so OP does a dropoff so that she can then use the car for other stuff during the day like kid dropoffs or driving to her own job?

Ppl saying he should use public transport have no idea how available or reliable that is. He would probably have to wake up and leave the house even much earlier.
