Wearing Pajamas to Drop DH off at work, are these drop off friendly in your opinion?

Anonymous
No. Just wear a t-shirt and some joggers or yoga pants.

No pajamas outside of the home..

This. Think about if you get pulled over or in a fender bender. Would you want to be standing on the side of the road, talking to the other driver and the police in the set you listed?

No. It's easy to slip on a pair of t-shirt and shorts or sweatshirt and leggings depending on the weather.

Just wear sweatpants and a tshirt.

This. Those pj’s are not for walking around outside.

If you want a special outfit, look up lounge outfits on Amazon- more like matching bottoms and a top. But the ones you showed are not okay if you are getting out of the car.

Also, can't you drive so you don't have to switch drivers? That way it really doesn't matter what you wear.

Are all the people who are asking OP to drive idiots? It makes perfect sense for the DH to drive if that’s what they want. He is probably more alert at 5:45am after having gotten ready for work, and that way they split the drive.

OP, the solution is for you to invest in 1 nice pair of athleisure/lounge as a driving outfit. Just throw it on every morning at 5:45am and change back to your regular PJs when you return home. You can wear the same outfit every weekday and wash it on the weekend.

ABSOLUTELY NOT

I wear black pajamas for this reason. I typically need to walk the dog at like 10pm and black looks more put together.

The reason I suggested that she drive is only because that is the reason others are seeing her pj's. If she was staying in the car, then I wouldn't have an opinion on what she wears.

The pyjamas are cute, OP!

So you want to dress twice, and are looking for lounge clothes? I dress in short shorts, mini skirts, various backless or interesting tops when I don't need something for office-ready, and all that stuff is just as easy to pull on as a PJ set. So I am not criticizing the amount of skin you're showing, but somehow it hadn't occurred to me to wear sleepwear outside. You do you, OP! Does it actually matter if it's a short coded as sleepwear vs. a short coded as streetwear if the inseam is the same???

Yes.

Yoga pants, sweat pants, jogging shorts, and a tshirt/zip up/cami are all appropriate.

Actual PJs like in the photos is weird.

How does your husband do common tasks like mow the lawn, exercise, go for walks, etc if he doesn't own sneakers?

No, OP. You drive him so you don’t have to get out, or else wear loungewear. Short matching pj set is not reasonable.
