You know the entire staff of every restaurant you eat at?? I smell a liar. |
Bicycles are a thing. Just avoid those battery exploding EBikes!
|
Of course. Small places tend to have just 2 or 3 cooks. Some places cook their food in front of you as well, such as Mongolian grill type places. Become more aware and sociable. |
You 100% do not know EVERYONE who works at every restaurant you eat at. Keep fooling yourself if you like but you don't. But we all know this is BS and you sit behind your computer eating every meal. |
Without a doubt, but restaurants are tightly regulated, have investors, owners, managers on duty, and other staff. Your food is alone with a random ass driver in their tinted window Nissan Altima for 10 to 30 minutes. Not only do I not want such men anywhere near my house -- with my name or phone number no less -- over my dead body would I eat food they had in their private possession. |
Most DoorDash drivers are driving drunk and high! Using someone else's identity or car to make the runs. They are regularly arrested while making deliveries. I have personally caught whiffs of weed smoke and body odor when these food delivery drivers walk past me in a restaurant. |
Restaurants are also subject to random health dept checks. |
OMG delivery drivers are introducing DRUGS into FOOD SERVICE industry?! |
Unfortunately for you, I live next door and when I order I tell the driver to rob my neighbors so that it doesn't impact their rating. |
SHOCKER: The ignorant bigot is wrong on basic facts. https://business.yougov.com/content/51282-exploring-americas-appetite-for-food-delivery-apps |
*standing golf clap* |
Do you even know who makes your food or what’s going on back there in the kitchen? The people who work in food have a tendency to have substance issues and I’ve seen first hand a chef smoking a vape pen while cooking. The delivery driver is the least of your concern. |
I routinely order through Uber Eats and Door Dash for both meals, groceries and or whatever else I need. Why not? This area used to be much more sane to drive around in. Not anymore (see thread in crazy people on roads, in stores and in parking lots) leave the driving and shopping soneone else. Oh and I always give the drivers max points, unless they take forever (dropping off multiple orders) and I tip well. I wish they had these services when my kids were really toddlers/preschool age. It would have been a lifesaver. |
