Yes,Biden abused TPS but that doesn't make them illegal. They are legally present under TPS and this action is completely unprecedented. Never in the history of the SSA has an administration decided to falsely declare people as dead to cancel their bank account. This is very dangerous and there is no reason why it won't happen to US citizens if they are already corrupting the database to target immigrants that legally obtained an SSN.

This is a lie. If they got an SSN, they came here legally, got a legal work visa, etc. Rs keep telling us they don’t hate all 8mmigrants. They just hate the illegal ones who don’t wait their turn. The people Trump is targeting here came legally, waited their turn, and are working under a legal visa. Guess what, MAGA still hates them and wants them gone. Turns out it was never about “we just want them to follow the law”. You cannot obtain a US-issued SSN if you are NOT a legal citizen. These people are probably green card holders, naturalized citizens, here working on a visa/studying on a visa (H1Bs, F-1s, etc.), all of which are LEGAL immigrants. LEGAL. Keyword. They immigrated the correct way through the correct channels and were issued SSNs so that they can pay taxes and get services.

Just to clarify: a green card holder can have a SSN. When you are naturalized, you are no longer an immigrant.

The legal immigrants they are talking about here are probably asylum seekers whose status was recently revoked.
