I think OP is referring to people who are alive and have valid, legal social security numbers and whom the Trump administration has unlawfully and falsely declared dead.

Agree. Secure the border, reform immigration and asylum protocols and deal with immigrants who already on our soil in a loving and humane way. Of course it's fine to send undocumented immigrants who have been convicted of violent crimes back to their native countries. If they are people with US issued SSNs, they are not illegals. They are not illegal immigrants at all. Having a valid SSN means that they are legal immigrants.

They are people who came here the correct way with the correct paperwork. They did everything the GOP always whines about ("we welcome immigrants who come the legal way! do it legally!") and still this happens to them and people here cheer.

So far, the admin is refusing to answer on how these people were selected. I bet when (if!) they do, we're going to find it's a bunch of people from the brown countries that Trump doesn't in S. America and the Middle East.

These are NOT illegal immigrants with ITINs. ITINs are completely, 100% different from SSNs. ITINs are issued to non-US citizens so that they can pay taxes. That's right - they pay into a system that they will NEVER f-ing benefit from.

Also, what kind of buffoons cancel SSNs right before tax day? JFC! I swear, this admin couldn't do one thing right to save their lives.

No.

You cannot obtain a US-issued SSN if you are NOT a legal citizen. These people are probably green card holders, naturalized citizens, here working on a visa/studying on a visa (H1Bs, F-1s, etc.), all of which are LEGAL immigrants. LEGAL. Keyword. They immigrated the correct way through the correct channels and were issued SSNs so that they can pay taxes and get services.
