I’m guessing.

Most middle aged men are dressing for comfort.

I get what you are saying, OP — what what are we supposed to wear? Heavy black walking sneakers that old people wear?

Not sure but you are immature for asking this question. Let people live and leave them alone!

This look sets off my gaydar. And I know I’m not the only one. Just being honest.

I think classic loafers or if luxury sneakers, go with black, brown or navy with just a white sole. The whole shoe being white is very juvenile and feminine to me. But maybe other women like it!

Those are advertising photos, not people living their real lives.

A lot of things "in style" don't look good or masculine, especially on men in their 30s, 40s and 50s. Trendy appearance is something teens and maybe recent college grads worry about.

Well, I really disagree with this.

Please see: Barrel Jeans.

But there’s a huge difference between trendy yet unflattering and weird barrel jeans and regular, basic, white sneakers.

Most middle aged people are trying to be comfortable and don't care what you think.

Probably that. Picture something like that on a man only while sailing on a boat in the summer.

Low top sneakers in general on a man should be reserved for exercising or tennis or something. Boots are always better for a man to wear. Any kind of mans boots.

Skinny jeans/slacks on men definitely set that alarm off. Not flattering at all for a man to wear tight tapered stuff like that.

+1
And cropped. Not a good look for a man.

White shoes are not bad. White shoes with all black is awful.
