What agency is next on the reorg front?

Anyone heard anything for EPA other than cutting the office of research and development?

Too bad no one in Congress can stop it. I always thought we had checks and balances in a democracy- we do not. Democracy was more fragile than we thought.

Democracy requires involved, knowledgeable citizens. We "don't have the bandwidth" and feel the need to spend more time analyzing White Lotus.

They have “infiltrated” and caused mass chaos at these agencies but none, except USAID, has been reorganized yet. IRS probably has impending RIFs but no one know what they will look like yet.

Thank you for this correction. 100% correct.

Wrong. HHS has been reorganized / in the process of being reorganized. It was a bloodbath last week.

No. OP listed several agencies that have NOT had reorganizations (at least as of this weekend) but said that they have. That is what we are correcting. OP made no mention of HHS.

How the heck is that news to you, then?

NP, because they haven’t hit DOJ yet - I’m sure it is coming, but they have done very little up until this point

Thank you for this

They need to keep people to undo all the regs they want to abolish.

Why specifically 4/14? Just FS or all usda?

Nice try; I’m not naming mine.

Not sure but that’s the date I heard for Interior too. Or Good Friday is also thrown around as the big RIF day.

The fact that you have “heard nothing” means nothing. Things are shifting in a major way for some litigating divisions right now, and this will likely affect most USAOs as well (as folks from litigating divisions get dispersed and/or don’t get dispersed and the local USAO has to take cases they didn’t used to handle).

Wait for Earth Day. If they want to inflict the most pain, why not do it on the day we celebrate the earth?
