And a smart athletic kid will fit in just as well at UVA. |
| Whichever feels better to him. |

sounds like he prefers Georgetown and I think he'd be fine there. I know a couple of girls there who are very social and sporty and they love it.
Are you concerned that Gtown is too expensive? |
| 7k vs 17k students |

DD loves everything about Georgetown but is slightly worried about missing college town feel and sorority life in UVA ? Are these regrettable factors if she chooses Georgetown in the long run ?
Cost is not a factor. |
I agree with this. Baseball is popular at UVA. Electric campus. |
I thought Georgetown had a very strong "college town" feel, it just pushes beyond the campus itself. I agree with other posters that the campus is not attractive, but I find Georgetown as a whole to be lovely and it made for a fantastic four years. I visited UVa frequently and thought it was great, but an entirely different experience. I didn't like their particular fraternity/sorority culture. You're not going to go wrong with either. |

Ranking is the same or neck to neck every single year both in us news and poets and quants for business schools
I would like to hear from Georgetown fans what would regret if they picked uva and from uva fans what they would regret if they picked Georgetown |
| So...OP can we assume that he was rejected by Bucknell ? |
| Uva if instate otherwise, Georgetown |
| These 2 are very different campuses and have different student populations. Your child should visit before deciding because they will be blessed to tell which one they like better. |
| What did your kid choose, OP? |
