Yes, it is. The WalletHub site posted earlier, for example, places Richmond as the 62nd most selective school in the nation (to which I'd add a few places to adjust for schools omitted due to "data limitations").

Why do you even want to send your boring mediocrity to a LAC? That’s just throwing good money after bad. Send him to an in-state public. GMU or Old Dominion.
