I think we might hear one or two Democrats vow to listen, but I don’t think they’ll go through with the actual listening. Politics is a talker’s game. And Cory Booker just became the Democratic front-runner for 2028. I’ll leave it to you to decide whether or not that’s good news for the Democrats. |

Yeah great idea but poorly executed. This kinda stuff if you're gonna do for psych impact you better impress 95% of folks or it actually will work v you.
The idea is to do more than send a message but also to inspire and lead. Sorry, not doing the latter 2 for me and I despise Trump. You can't compare him to how bad Trump is you idiots - you gotta actually hit it out of the park. Why would anyone think he wouldn't be better than Trump? He obviously is but the point is whether I would follow Cory and I don't feel he's all that. Trump is obviously not one you follow so it's the moron who compares him to Trump! |

Wow. It's impressive how some people have the physical stamina to do this. The Republican Thurmond went more than 24hrs like this in 1957. He holds the record. Cory Booker is gunning for the record, because it will attract media focus on his message.
Regardless of which political side you're on, we can all admire the stamina. |

I don’t know why you feel the need to takedown AOC in this thread that’s not about her. She’s speaking directly to voters. Booker is speaking mainly to his colleagues. I doubt it was taped, she’s been doing live reels, which then get posted. |

I think his colleagues in the Senate have noticed. It’s also useful as a pause to summarize and reflect on the accumulation of damage from Trump. Governing is not entertainment. |
