I do agree with you about using fewer eggs. However, this was one of the things that Biden was blamed for, and something that Trump said he would fix. So I have no problem with people complaining about eggs.

The poor will use fewer eggs. The rich will just complain and keep paying. I know I will.

That’s how capitalism works! My fridge is full of eggs.

How do you manage with that crappy job of yours?

How much is this egg inflation costing the average family?

Probably a few dollars a month, we will survive! They will breed more chickens, but it will take some months.

The aluminum tariffs will be much worse, but people don’t notice them the same way.

We go through a dozen or so a week, so yeah, we’re talking $12 a month or so extra in eggs. Less than one Cava bowl.

That's false. Canada exports eggs to the US and does not rely on the US. But even those exports are a small number. The countries were mostly self sufficient until avian flu in the US.

Americans smuggling eggs into the US from Canada and Mexico...

Yes Canada exported about 40 million dozen last year to the USA, and the USA exported about 180 million dozen to Canada.

That’s 140 million dozen eggs that we could use for ourselves.

Maybe learn to count before you make your next post.

140 million dozen eggs per year is less than 1 egg per person per month. That's 1% of production/consumption.

Eggs are a staple in a lot of American cooking, and have been for a long time. You're asking most of the country to make a pretty drastic shift in their diet, when many of them depend on eggs as a formerly cheap protein, at a time when the cost of groceries has skyrocketed. It's not as simple as "just don't use eggs!" Dummy.

Plenty of soybeans to eat now that US farmers are cut off from China. I guess MAGA are the soy boys after all!

That’s less than 40 cents per egg.
They cost more than they used to, but in terms of a high quality protein source, that is still a bargain.

Be sure to tell everyone that the higher prices Trump promised to fix on his first day are really no big deal - everything is fine, no it's great. Planes aren't crashing, economies aren't crashing, we aren't in stupid pointless wars with former friends and allies from all over the world

And we have these reassuring words from ol JD

.

Trump says silly things. Old news.

The point- a hole, is that why are we begging for eggs from Denmark when we’re exporting eggs.

Welcome to rationing, since stores are putting limits on egg purchases. People can eat peanut butter as long as they don't have allergies.

MAGA, baby!

The rationing isn’t real. You can go back each day for more eggs if you wish.

What a great solution! Hear that everyone? You can have as many eggs as you want so long as you visit the grocery store every single day to buy more. Thanks Trump! I guess bread lines won't be a problem either because all you have to do is wait in line every single day. Since so many people are losing their jobs, they'll have nothing but time for stuff like feeding their families.

He is the absolute worst combination of stupid and evil.

For the rest of my life, I will not understand why so many people gave it all away - so enthusiastically - for this stupid, evil person.

No, I know, I know - it's because Dems bad. Dems out of touch! Stupid evil conman who bankrupted 13 businesses - including a casino - savior.

(I don't believe he actually bankrupted a casino. I believe that was another one of his cons.)

The American people are loving Democratic messaging about the price of eggs. Republican idiots blame Biden inflation and Biden administration ordering millions of chickens killed for bird flu. But swing voters like the messaging, and every time they hear Democrats talk about the price of eggs, they regret their decision to vote against Kamala that much more. To keep this going, we should all start hoarding eggs or just buying them and destroying them. Ideally egg prices will keep going up until the midterms.

Trump will not have a flu vaccine next year. Hope no one you know is elderly or at risk.

No eggs = no flu vaccinations.

The scientists were supposed to start meeting about a month ago to discuss the next season's flu vaccine. That meeting was canceled and has not been rescheduled.

Takes six months to make the vaccine because you have to grow the virus in egg whites.

Flu kills people. Have fun, Trump says.

We need to feel PAIN!

Your FAVORITE president is handling EVERYthing! He works seven days a week!
