That's false. Canada exports eggs to the US and does not rely on the US. But even those exports are a small number. The countries were mostly self sufficient until avian flu in the US.

Yes Canada exported about 40 million dozen last year to the USA, and the USA exported about 180 million dozen to Canada.

That’s 140 million dozen eggs that we could use for ourselves.
