OP here, I believe you certainly look good! This is very interesting, but it makes sense to me! |
Please provide a source. My limited dive into respected medical research just now indicated exactly what PP is saying - and no where did I see it being “debunked.” |
Sounds like you had or have an eating disorder or disordered eating.
I suggest visiting a dietician to ensure you're getting all the nutrients you need. You don't want to go into the older years with excessive bone loss. Due to a digestive disorder, I was underweight and that caused disordered eating and bone density loss. The disordered eating was easy for me to correct once I realized how scared I was to eat after having the digestive disorder. The osteoporosis was trickier. I've spent two or more years trying to correct that with medicine under the supervision of a doctor. I chose to gain weight to get my BMI into the "safe" zone to prevent more osteoporosis. Good luck! |
No, it hasn't. Ever. Because it is true. Baseline metabolic rate is a thing and can be altered by diet, as well as other factors. |
Agree with other comments that you were underweight before. Enjoy this new healthy weight. |
interesting. So by your logic those who were starved/close to starved for extended periods of time should be looking the same as before then. calorie deficit is what makes people lose weight-the exception is when there are other things going on (hormone issues, other medical issues etc…). If you are a reasonably person and you are eating in a calorie deficit you will lose weight. That’s it. |
This list is so weirdly specific. |
You legitimately need help |
BTW, weighing 2 lbs more than you did the previous day doesn’t mean you actually gained 2 lbs. I hope you realize that.
You know how much you’d have to eat to gain 2 lbs of fat overnight? You’re nowhere near that level of intake. |
This to me is one of the best things about weighing yourself daily. You can understand and truly internalize the natural fluctuations. |
Stepping up my activity/exercise was the most significant factor enabling me to take control of my weight. I must work out 4- 5 days a week to even maintain. |
NP also 5’7”. Thank you for so clearly helping me to see why I am no longer 125 lbs. I’m not being sarcastic. I forgot how little I ate at that weight and how what seems like “not much” now is still much, much more than this. |
5'4 at 120 lbs sounds ideal. It's what you want at this height. |
I think she needs to lose 10lbs. 5'4" is short. |
You know where you are wrong and simply trolling. Nobody is that obtuse. |
