My friend just went through this for the last 5 years with her son. CHOP in Philly was wonderful. Her son's Leukemia came back multiple times after he was in remission. In the end, a bone marrow transplant saved his life. |
Ever considered that this is not the childs parents friend and perhaps the parent of the child? Maybe the parent doesnt want anyone they to know to know they are posting, so they are acting as if they are a friend. You never know. |

I’m so sorry for your friends, OP. Boston Children’s was amazing and saved our son’s life (not cancer), they are world class in pretty much every single area of children’s health and helped handle the insurance policy navigation seamlessly with very little work for us. Your friends may want to consider a second opinion there.
We reached out and submitted a request for a second opinion by submitting all our child’s medical records. They got back to us within a week with the opinion and a care coordinator helped with the entire process. Good luck. |
