Who said I eat so much processed food? I was using those purchases to illustrate a point, not listing my entire weekly dietary plan. Do you not eat ice cream?

I do not eat ice cream from a store, you are correct. I make it (on occasion) with organic grass-fed cream and whole milk from local cows, organic sugar, and organic vanilla, and a little Maldon salt. That's it.

That seems time-consuming.

Yeah. I am not making my own ice cream. Too busy practicing law. Clearly that is not the case with that PP and their Maldon salt.

Either do the shopping yourself or ask your spouse to skip the store brand items.

You had me sort of until you dropped Whole Foods and TJs.

TJs is an entirely store-brand store. You know that, right? It's the entire purpose of it, and it's not thought of as inferior or gross. In fact, far bougier than Giant or Safeway, which are totally normal stores. I'd say most people would think of TJs cereal above your run-of-the-mill brands.

Whole Foods store brand is also kind of a status symbol in and of itself. My food snobby mom would 100% rather have WF ice cream in her house than Breyers. Maybe you just didn't like the ice cream? Was it light or diet? That's what it sounds like.

Come back and talk to us when it's Great Value or something. And watch your tone: lots of people are proud to but that and similar brands for their families with their hard earned money. You sound entitled and clueless.
