I thought they had to use three makeup days first, and they've only used one so far.


DP. It will be two as soon as they account for last week. I think PP meant this storm will cause more than 1 closure day and the additional days will be waived.

Schools weren’t closed for more than a week because of the temporary blizzard conditions. They were closed so long because of snowfall totals. In addition to all of the plowing and shoveling needed on school grounds, 1200-1300 buses had to be dug out of approximately 30” of snow.

Predictions for the storm track have shifted on the models. Main zone more to the south of us so less snow.
