If I like the Diplomat, will I like the Americans?

| I liked season 1 of the Diplomat but didn’t get into season 2. I loved the Americans- I liked the 80s nostalgia with the set design and costumes and loved the way they wrapped up the entire series. |

| Chiming in for the Americans. Each season has a big plot or two related to their “missions” but with the family and friends dynamic carrying and building through. One of the few great shows that truly stuck the landing. |

Homeland has way more tension and complexity than Americans. Also more violent.
The diplomacy is lite fare compared to the Americans. |
