Yep, MMWR reporting resumed but they are still witholding the bird flu update that should have been released awhile back.

However, CDC did give hospitals an update to start sequencing specimens for all hospitalized flu A patients to identify H5. It is very expensive to do so and also slow as it can require sending specimens to a specialized lab. But hospitals will find it if it is out there. Without CDC oversight or reporting though, we will not have a full picture of what is happening.

Get back to us when the GOP bothers to do anything that will reduce PFAs in our water and food. You are blathering on about Red dye (and probably fluoride) and drinking PFA laden water that causes colon cancer among other kinds of cancer, is an endocrine disrupter, reduces fertility, thyroid disfunction, and more and your party will NOT do anything about it. A few days later, I had a doctor’s appointment where he happened to mention that a colleague asked an AI program to draw an anatomical model for a presentation, and it put the kidneys up near the shoulders and the lungs down below the waist.

At this point in AI development, I’m sure using it to make high-stakes decisions for people’s livelihoods and government programs couldn’t *possibly* go wrong.
