Just checking in case you didn’t realize. You’re the group grump, congrats! |
| Lol. Nope. |
Are you even aware of how dumb and uncultured you sound? |
I’m not the one who started a stupid thread complaining that my teenage son wants to smell good as his Christmas gift. |
|
Not a new trend. So silly.
My 14 year old just showers and uses deodorant and pays attention to hygiene. If your kid is into cologne, please let him know to use it sparingly so he doesn’t overwhelm everyone with his heavy handed perfume. https://www.nytimes.com/2024/05/19/style/designer-cologne-fragrance-teen-boys.html?unlocked_article_code=1.u04.KYd4.e_yhIairZbSi&smid=url-share |
| Link above is a gift article. Hope it works. |
Mine have requested YSL, JPG, Dior, Gucci, Jo Malone…but, Creed is the favorite. They can’t run fast enough if they spot a Creed boutique. How this started—no idea…youngest started requesting cologne at 9. |
| yes and all of his friends do too. When drive them around, say to a party or get together i have to keep the windows down. I can literally smell them in my house before i see them. |
Ha! i’m a teacher and I much prefer it over BO. To answer the OPs question this is very common for teen boys. I’ve actually seen an uptick in personal hygiene in the last few years and it’s a welcome change! |
| No never. |
It’s a problem for people with migraines. |
Everything is a problem for people with migraines. Shall we turn off the lights as well? |
| Mine are too young for this, but my 14 year old nephew asked for a Creed scent for Christmas. My sister refused to buy it for him but that's what aunties are for! |
| Yes. Both of them have a collection. They don't buy them but that is what they have asked for for gifts the last few years. |
| YES. Drives me nuts. He has a job and spends all his money on "scent." But there are worse things! |
