Do your teen boys buy bottles of seriously pricey cologne?

You joke but I like the scent of Drakkar Noir.

Yes, my 15 yo is really into different colognes. There are tik tok videos discussing different colognes. He had a summer job and saved Birthday/holiday money to purchase for himself.

Better than axe body spray

What do you consider pricey?

Eyeroll. Of course. But it’s expensive and well, it feels like a waste to me. But my dc LOVES cologne and asks for a pricey bottle at every opportunity for a gift

Eyeroll back at ya. If you’re going to spend money buying them a gift anyway, what exactly is your problem? What would you prefer they ask for?

Yes! It was a phase with him and his friends for awhile, and they would descend en masse upon the fragrance counter at Bloomingdale's. He's a HS junior now and it has leveled off a bit, although he still had cologne on his Christmas list.

See above. These colognes are typically 300 and up. Not the Polo RL of my day

Gross. Are they trashy euros?

Nope. All American boys. But yes, this is how I view cologne too.

Oh, not $300 worth. Usually Nautica, Armani, Dolce and Gabbana, Polo, Versace, etc.

When the kids have $1000 Canada Goose coats, a $300 cologne doesn’t seem that out of whack.
