+3 dumb to think it and dumb to say it. |
Actually you wear it for other women |
| No fakeup for me. I like my women au natural, thank you. |
Wear make up if you want just stop hating the women who don’t. If a man says he finds a woman who doesn’t wear makeup attractive you don’t need to comment that no, he isn’t finding women who don’t wear makeup attractive, that those women must be wearing makeup if he finds them attractive and he just doesn’t know it. That has been repeated a dozen or more times in this very thread. And yes that is denying it is possible he does actually find amen who don’t wear make up attractive. There are lot of women who don’t wear makeup. Your trope that duh all men are stupid and are only attracted to women with makeup gets really old. |
Men are allowed to have and even verbalize preferences. Women are encouraged to do so all the time. Not a red flag at all. |
| If someone says they prefer vegetarian food like chicken, I will judge them. Same as if they say they prefer no makeup but their revealed preference contradicts their ignorant statement. |
Fakeup...going to use that one.. ha! |
No one is hating besides you. We have our experiences; you have yours. |
No one cares. |
What an odd claim. Also, it's not one or the other. I wear makeup about half the time. The other half I don't. And I don't "hate" either group of women. |

It’s similar to a woman saying “I don’t like men who go to the gym all the time, I prefer a natural look like Brad Pitt in Fight Club”. Just shows a lot of ignorance over how much work goes into a specific look.
If a man isn’t into spotty red skin, tired-looking eyes, pale lips, hairy pits, etc., then he’s no more into ‘natural’ than a woman who isn’t into guts on men is into ‘natural’. What men really mean is they want women to wear makeup but not look like they wear makeup, but can’t say that out loud because it’s hypocritical since they don’t wear makeup. “Natural” sounds more palatable since it feels like you’re telling women to not alter their appearance, even though you are. |

I don’t wear much makeup OP, but I have been getting Botox and facials since my early 30s to maintain a youthful look. I spend a ton of $ on balayage. The makeup I do wear looks like “no makeup” (e.g. tinted moisturizer, coloring in brows, a swipe of mascara). I’ve spent a ton on exercise classes over the past couple decades (I’m early 40s now).
And after all this I look very “natural.” I’m sure someone will say they’d be able to tell I do all this, but really I look very girl next door/cute. I dress fairly basic. You’d have no idea how high maintenance it is to look low maintenance. |
| There is natural with no makeup and unnatural which is way too much makeup - think Mar a Lago women! Somewhere in between is fine. |
|
I wear no makeup ever and never have. I have never regretted that for one second.
I would think a man might like the way a woman looks in makeup but then when he sees her without it he might be disappointed. Then he wants her to wear it all the time. Sounds like a nightmare to me. So I skipped that whole possibility and it's worked out well for me. |
+1 my brother's friend didn't realize that women fart and poop until he went to college in a coed dorm. Like wtf. And he went to a public ivy. He was just surrounded by men, no sisters, no gf in HS, or female relatives other than a single mom. Totally clueless dude. |
