ADW is probably trying to manage the fallout from disappointed parents -- as others have said. That's why we'll receive them so late. |
| Another Arlington Diocese school parent. Haven’t received scores for my 8th grader and for my older HS child didn’t receive until January. |
Results are percentile so difficult test or not it is compared to everyone. DC did about where we expected. |
| I guess we won’t see scores until after the break at this point? |
| Schools in the Arlington diocese have the scores. It's just a matter of when the principal sends them to families. |
| I mean this sincerely- why does it matter when you get the scores? Applications are in. You cannot retake the test. What’s done is done, no need to add a stressor to the process. |
+1 |
| Because it helps set expectations as to whether to prepare for a denial if it's low. Also, I paid for the test, so I want to see my kid's scores before the high schools and their current school. |
Scholarships can be a factor for some. |
| Arlington Diocese and we got ours last Friday. (12/20) |
May I ask what school and how you received them? (hard copy or email?) We are also Arlington and have not received them. |
| My kid took it at O'Connell and we gt an email last week saying that scores were delayed. They hoped to get them by 12/20 but if they didn't they would send them out after the break. |
St. Joe’s in Herndon. We received them via email. |
| Sounds like it’s dependent on if principals want to work over the break or not. |
I wouldn’t expect them to. |
