What are we supposed to do about it? We voted in their best interest, unlike the majority of US voters, apparently.

“We” voted in “their” best interest…implies that all disabled people voted for Trump against their own best interest and that all those who voted for Harris support rights for people with disabilities and now that the election is over and Harris lost screw anyone w disabilities? Do you seriously believe that all disabled people voted for Trump?

Well for the disability I have (that is congenital) the new trend is for the parent to become a Tik Tok influencer (all with Tik Tok shop) making videos of your sick baby in the NICU or when (or if) they come home showing all about their disabled baby’s life. Some have millions of followers. Showing off their disability babies for clicks, likes, and money. To someone with the same disability, it is very disturbing.

I understand discussing this before he became president, but now that he has been voted in, let's see what he actually tries to do. I say this as a SN mom. He can't just waive a magic wand and take away everything. I don't recall him mentioning that the second he takes office he's coming after the disabled. Lets see what get proposed and then we can advocate and try to stop it.
