We do. However, It’s what we expect our extremely high taxes to do as well. This is why Democrats will tell you over and over and over again that we are completely OK with paying taxes because we expect our taxes to take care of people like this. When our taxes stop taking care of people in need, then our country has a problem.

And I’m a federal employee. I grew up in a red state and have heard so many vile things about feds. The red state voters have made it clear they would be perfectly fine with people like me losing our jobs and healthcare for no discernible reason (and on top of that I work for an agency that benefits them).

Why should I want to open my wallet anymore to help these people? Especially since they are getting what they voted for. They *wanted* this. So congrats to them for all their #winning.

That's hilarious. DOGE ran clunky AI and keyword searches. It couldn't tell the difference between diversity in fish species (in some marine research) and diversity at Harvard. DOGE bros had no CLUE how programs actually functioned. Remember the guy who was fired when he said he was surprised to discover there wasn't much fraud and fed employees were civil servants pretty much dedicated to doing their jobs well? Remember how many of their "cuts" turned out to have extra zeros or were cuts of programs that had ended or been terminated under previous administrations? Remember how they actually believed there were thousands of deadpeople getting SS checks? Well if they aren't going for saving invalids then use some of your huge blue state bank account for 20 poor peoples long term disability insurance. Lobby for tax cuts so you have even more cash to dedicate to supporting invalids and illegals.
