| It's almost like different parts of the country developed at different times. |
I concur. It’s so obvious. Always mentions how few people live in Wisconsin and how great the school is in spite of the state’s population. The fact is that it’s not so great anymore compared to other top publics. |

+ 1. Binghamton is very competitive to get into to these days. |
| SUNY is generally pretty corrupt and inept these days. Losing enrollment for the last five years. Geneseo, the flagship, is run by a president under federal investigation. Binghamton is the best, but it's nowhere close to RPI, Cornell, or other privates. The rest of the SUNY schools are now basically no-names. |
I hate to say it, but this is likely 100% spot on. Maybe Eau Claire makes it along with Milwaukee? But that's really it. |
Geneseo is not the flagship. It is a nicely designed canoe. |
Ok, you are correct, I misspoke there - I meant to say something akin to the SUNY "honors college." It's basically in the toilet, as well. And dear god I laughed long and hard at "nicely designed canoe.." |
Stony Brook and Buffalo are the NY flagships. |
Yeah, yeah, look at my last post - and you're wrong anyway, cause it's Binghamton. |
I keep having to correct you idiots: https://news.stonybrook.edu/university/governor-hochul-names-stony-brook-a-flagship-university-in-state-of-the-state-address/ |
| This has to be one of the least-informed threads on here, and that’s saying something. Stop talking about NY schools when you don’t know anything about NY schools. |
To be fair, that’s a pretty new designation. But at the same time, it was never Binghamton. |
Ok. I mean, I disagree with her, but sure. I guess she gets to designate the flagships. As long as it's not Geneseo. Geneseo has turned into garbage. |
You just don't like what people are saying. That's different than not being informed. Go wipe your butt, kid. |
