She lives rent-free in your head. |
I'm not the pp, but she doesn't live rent free. We paid her over a million dollars to live in our head. No one will forget the board that made such bad decisions. |
Not only does she live rent-free, but y'all paying her on top of that. Damn, she's winning at life. |
| Monifa is chilling and is not the problem. The real criminals are still in place and are the problems. |
| Hopefully the new principal is less obsessed with football. The school is academically sub par. |
QO is ranked in the top 30% of MD high schools and has an elite football program. No principal is going to ignore a team that consistently makes it to the state championship game and is financially profitable. |
It's not an elite football program it's a cheating football program that recruits players. The principal is in bed with the program and knows what goes on. |
This is true ⬆️. |
100% true. Also football players are getting extra educational help which is already stretched thin for kids with IEPs and 504s. |
Wow, I had no clue! |
And who else is she in bed with? |
Top 30% doesn't sound all that impressive considering there are lots of families of big brain biotechnology employees in that cluster. You would think 10% out of the state |
| Keep in mind, close to 40% of QO is FARMS, and they also have a very wealthy population, similar to the "W" schools, that prioritizes education because they don't have to worry about making rent or their next meal. It is a school with a unique population in comparison to other MCSP schools. My children and their friends are getting a great education/plenty of AP classes and have above average test scores. QO is what the student makes of it. I don't think Beth Thomas prioritized academics enough, but it's tough with the vastly different socioeconomic populations in one school. New leadership that values academics over sports will make QO even better. |
| Why haven't they posted the principal position yet? |
Hopefully, a serious person who prioritizes academic excellence over sports’ glorification will be hired. It would also be nice to have a grown up who is not focused on self-promotion on social media. |
