100% true. Also football players are getting extra educational help which is already stretched thin for kids with IEPs and 504s.

Top 30% doesn't sound all that impressive considering there are lots of families of big brain biotechnology employees in that cluster. You would think 10% out of the state

Keep in mind, close to 40% of QO is FARMS, and they also have a very wealthy population, similar to the "W" schools, that prioritizes education because they don't have to worry about making rent or their next meal. It is a school with a unique population in comparison to other MCSP schools. My children and their friends are getting a great education/plenty of AP classes and have above average test scores. QO is what the student makes of it. I don't think Beth Thomas prioritized academics enough, but it's tough with the vastly different socioeconomic populations in one school. New leadership that values academics over sports will make QO even better.
