My guess would be a swastika

So MAGA poster fits

Actually. No. The ones with the swastikas are the same people who think what happened on October 7 2024 is acceptable. The same people marching through the streets with their keffiyeh and shutting down college campuses. Those are the people that you need to worry about.

So dumb! Get an education.

+ a million
Very telling that people like the PP are spinning as fast as they can to distance themselves from their party’s antisemites.

I find it most telling that half this thread is posters jumping to politics when, really, it is true that both:

1) teenagers are generally idiots (with many notable exceptions) who don't think before they act, and
2) terrible people exist across all possible categories of human

Sure. As long as you apply that “kids will be kids” attitude the next time someone expresses anti-Muslim or anti-black sentiments.

you are not black, so leave black out of it. we are more than just props whenever you want to express that something happens to your group that you don't like, using us in your "you wouldn't say that to black people", as if we are the default of who everyone hates.

I've received several such letters over the years in MCPS.

When I was in school in various European countries, the same things happened.

Nothing ever changes, OP. Didn't you know?

Well the typical practice of white supremacy ins to look the opposite way, ignore such a thing, and swear it didn’t happen.

I am flabbergasted! How does something like this happen in a place like this, now? (FCPS)

“ Dear XXXXXXXX Community,

We have recently been made aware of a student using a hate symbol while in class.

We want to be clear that FCPS does not tolerate this kind of behavior in our schools. It is unacceptable that any student at XXXXXXXX High School feels that this is appropriate behavior. This is not the kind of school community we seek to cultivate. We have made a commitment in FCPS that any time these situations arise, we will share them with our school community to send a clear message that we denounce these actions.

Every student in FCPS has the right to feel safe and affirmed in our schools. Words matter, no matter the context, no matter the situation. In partnership with the Chief Equity Office, we will continue to work within our school community to have dialogues about dignity, humanization and belonging. I ask you to engage in these same conversations at home.

Below are two resources that can also help guide your conversations at home:

Talking to your child about slurs: When words hurt
Our students can make a difference in this world by learning to embrace and value our differences instead of using them to divide us.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me directly. I would like to hear your ideas about making McLean High School a more welcoming and culturally responsive environment for all.

Ellen Reilly”

The Leader if the Republican party espouses nothing but hate, why would you be surprised in 2024?
