Ok, not really but also that is not what we're talking about. We're talking about the people teaching children all day in school and it's 75 degrees out at the moment. |
None? A normal teacher that can teach without a mask. It’s so much more effective when teachers aren’t masked when teaching young children. If you can’t do that, then work a different job someone else that can do this is able to be hired |
Just own the libs by never getting sick! |
Can you point to the long line of people willing to be overworked, undervalued, and underpaid? |
It probably bothers her when you send your child in sick. Or, maybe she or a family member have health issues. Or, if she gets sick, she has to take off work and you'd complain. No, I'm not bothered by it. If she did it regularly, I'd ask for my child to be put in her class. |
So they should be better martyrs for you. It isn’t enough that they give up time, far more than they are paid for. They should give up their health for you, too. The selfishness is astounding. |
A good or great teacher can teach in a mask effectively. This is a you problem, not her. If you care, you'd keep your sick kid home. |
I trust that the teacher has a very good health related reason for wearing a mask. She is not wearing it to piss off a few idiot parents. Three of my kids have already been sick after just three weeks of school. |
+2 OP, I would suggest therapy for you to understand why a person's act of protection is bothering you. You need to care about your fellow humans, or at least pretend to for the sake of your 2nd grader. |
I’ve already had students out with strep, covid, the flu, mono, pink eye, and norovirus. And those are just the ones I know of. I regularly have 5-10% of my students sick at home. Some I’ve had to send home myself because their parents sent the poor children to school. It sickens me how many parents will send children with fevers to school. |
How about teaching your child to be a kind, empathatic person who cares about others needs? |
Summer camp. Well then! You are the expert. |
Who are you to decide that for someone else? |
My daughters teacher always wore one last year. He had kidney disease and was waiting for a transplant. My sister works in a hospital and also always wears one at work. I don’t care who wears one. Covid has already been taking out half the class at my kids school these past few weeks so I’m sure some of the teachers are wearing them now, too. |
This is false; I was just there and nobody had masks on trains and buses. But herev on the other hand |
