Why are people so intentionally obtuse about this? This is like saying that being a basketball player is a great career because the average NBA salary is $10M per year. OK, but players in the minor leagues earn $40K per year. And some won't cut it and will need to coach HS basketball instead of becoming a multi-millionaire. And some will need to give it a shot in the Turkey to earn a better salary. And on and on. |
