Uh, no. $200K is like top 5% of individual earners. And since business owners are disproportionally represented among high-earners, the percentage of "jobs" (which is what the OP asked about) that pay $200K is less than 5%. As an example, notwithstanding the $700K HHI lawyers that post here, the median income for an attorney in the US is still $135K according to the BLS.

$200K is still a big accomplishment.

First year lawyers in DC start at $140 - $260, plus bonus, according to Glass Door. That is fresh out of law school with zero layering skills.

My sister too. Undergrad degree in psychology. No graduate degree, just a self study certification in Salesforce administration.

IT expert. Get all the certifications you can get. College degree helps, but is not always required. Takes about 10-15 years to work your way up to management but very achievable if you're technically adept.

Google L3 (entry level) makes more than that with bonus and stock award.

A lot of the high-paying jobs fall into this category, but many jobs in these categories are not that high-paying. There are a lot of "financial professionals" who are accountants, bank assistant managers, etc., who are not highly paid.

For example, many people here will talk about lawyers making high salaries, but this graph shows the distribution of entry-level salaries: There's are peaks for big-law at the $200k+, but there's a MUCH bigger portion making $60-80k. https://www.nalp.org/salarydistrib

Only big law. The average lawyer salary in the US is about 135. Most lawyers are not big law.
