I was wondering this too. I suspect there is a slow car in the left lane leading to frustration and people making aggressive moves in the 2nd - 4th lanes. Slower traffic to the right needs to be enforced.

It does. But I don’t think that’s the crux of the problem. These are packs of young men in souped up cars and some on motorcycles weaving in and out of traffic going over 100 on each others bumpers. One twitch by anyone on the road and people are gonna die.

It’s really bad on the outer loop between 95 and 270 and then on 270 up to shady grove. Maryland and Montgomery county seem content to just mail everyone photo tickets for going 11 over in a speed trap, but doesn’t want to do anything about this or the insane amount of drunk drivers on our roads. It’s a disgrace.
