This is a natural human response. It's called sour grapes. |
I don't know about now but it went from being a 4 year degree to a 5 year PharmD to whatever it is now. |
There are bachelors degrees. The ROI surveys reflect only bachelors degrees. However, those may go on to earn Pharm.D. degrees. |
Can you separate out males and females? |
On average, female college graduates make only 79% as much as male college graduates. There could be several reasons. But, on average, a school with a higher male to female ratio can be expected to have higher "ROI". https://www.pewresearch.org/social-trends/2023/03/01/the-enduring-grip-of-the-gender-pay-gap/#:~:text=In%202022%2C%20women%20with%20at,the%20same%20level%20of%20education. |
Basically the stripped list is a definitive top 50 list if making money is important to you.
Not many surprises. |
It’s because they major in dumb useless subjects. |
Eye. Roll. I am smarter than all my male colleagues and am not in a dumb or useless subject. Looking at all my colleagues’ kids: the males are the less successful in jobs post college. Female kids are killing it |
No surprises here! Kids both in T10 on this list, name-recognition ones, and they and classmates have so many opportunities at their school the résumé’s don’t compare to schools well below. The advantage is a bit embarrassing tbf |
This. It's always crystal clear who was rejected when they say unnecessarily spiteful things about certain schools that have no basis in reality. |
Ok and are you underpaid? If not then that’s the reason, you majored in something sensible. |
All partners make the same in the company, per billable hour. Totals over 300k. Pretty nice. But the kids of all indicate the males are making dumb choices not the females: communications, urban studies, that type of lamechoice. |
A lot of posters here are looking at state colleges and are not full pay families. We are a full pay family and have a few friends the same as us. Full pay with kids who are artistic and hate academics. And a lot of their classmates are similar. They are in expensive schools with the worst ROI on the list. My dd is happy and thriving. So are her classmates. |
In which case either female college graduates aren’t underpaid or they aren’t as smart as you think they are. |
