As a Democrat, it all feels hopeless.

The DNC didn’t do this.
This is all on Joe and Jill Biden.
No one was going to challenge the sitting president. Literally you are asking dems to relinquish the only advantage going into an election where both parties are known entities: which is the power of the bully pulpit.
No democrats was going to run against the sitting president and it’s childish, ignorant wish casting to pretend it was ever an option.

Biden said he will serve only one term when he was campaigning in 2020.

Biden lied.

The Fed Soc dominated Supreme Court will allow individual states to remove your “right” to vote. We are probably about a decade before the first domino falls.

But even if Dems win, the Supreme Court has done so much this year to stymie any liberal policy.

Gun control ain’t happening. The environment is fked and now will be more so with the loss of Chevron. Organized religion is fully breaking down the walls between the state and itself.

What the fk? What’s to be happy about?

The RNC and DNC need to be shut down so that we can work on reducing the influence of money politics and then we can reform two major parties under proper leadership which will lead to legitimate POTUS candidates. This is the only way to put the ineptness of the Trump/Biden era behind us.

Or we can just win in November, get a better court and get rid of Citizens United.

If we were serious about winning in November, we wouldn't have supported Biden's 2nd term ambitions in the 2024 primary. We made our beds.

Any Dem not voting for Biden loses my respect. I wish be weren’t the candidate. But this is not an election between Biden and Trump. It’s about the future of the democracy. If ppl can’t see that then we’re fuxxxed anyway you shake it due to our own stupidity.

Have u ppl forgot 1/6/20? And the sh—-show that was Trumps forst presidency? We will be a laughing stock. And stuck with a wannabe fascist at the helm. This whole idea is god da—- dystopian and it’s happening for all to see. But yeah. Biden’s old. Gtfoh.

Democracy dies when you vote for a senile old man and don’t know who is really in charge of the administration behind the scenes. Give it a rest.

Trump is a traitor who tried to throw my vote and millions of other votes in the garbage to take power for his con artist self. If you have a brain, keep him away from the white house at all costs.

If you are past the age of 30, you can take solace that you got to live at the tail end of Pax America, a time when there was steady progress in technology and human rights, and a general consensus on the nation’s values. That’s gone now and the future is bleak. But we can all be glad we were alive during the “good old days”.

The DNC is on the brink of losing to Donald fricking Trump for a second time. Stop making excuses for a failing private entity. We can coalesce behind a different party name with better leadership. The RNC and DNC are private entities for god's sake. They can be replaced. Instead of replacing them, many idiots keep rewarding them for their failures by sending them more money. I don't get it. When did we become so stupid?

I worked in the Yang Campaign in 2019-2020 during the primaries as a relatively high level staff and I came to the conclusion that DNC was "evil" after interacting with them on behalf of the Yang Campaign and seeing how the sausage is made.

I tell everyone that DNC is evil ever since that experience.

The RNC is no better. They both need to be dissolved ASAP.

The court needs an overhaul. No way should these appointed individuals have this much power, and no term limits? They are in for life? No.

To be perfectly accurate, he never actually said he would be a one-term president but he implied it or let it be assumed by others. So, no, he didn't lie, but he didn't correct the widespread misconception (which I, among others, fell for) either. Politicians are slippery that way.

"So Biden never explicitly made a one-term promise during the campaign, but he certainly implied it with the language of “transition.” You don’t typically think of eight years in office as a “transition.” And he had surrogates talking to their pals in the press planting the seeds of a single term, for a Democratic electorate that never saw Biden as their first choice, just as an acceptable consensus pick to take out the hated incumbent."

I agree but the biggest ordeal we are currently facing is the possibility of Trump or Biden being POTUS until 2029. We must not let this happen.

Insane, fake projections are not helpful and take away any positive process and change that can be brain stormed now. It's a total waste of time and mental capacity.

John Stewart mentioned this problem in February before almost all the primaries.
Democrats responded by attacking Jon Stewart for talking about it and proceeded to vote for Biden.
